As a total lover of all the Marvel characters, although I only know the most common ones, and especially the movies, I'm on top of the world and over the moon to see a non-animated TV show spring from their universe. Nothing short of awesome could come from people who know how to work sci-fi action and conspiracy.
Other than some fancy new-age technology and some action, I had no expectations for the series at first. Still, the first few episodes felt disconnected to me, and I was a little like meh... but I had the same feeling with some other first seasons too, and once the first threads came together, I got over it. Glad I did, because it turned out even better than I could've imagined.
Fitz-Simmons were simply adorable together, and I loved how they always came as a package-deal. It was funny how Ward didn't know who was who, and how he didn't always (want to) understand their bio-tech babbling because he was the hands-on type. It was overall a very good team dynamic which I loved very much.
I totally saw that one coming (who didn't?!), and I LOVED it! I think Skye and Ward make a couple just as perfect as Fitz-Simmons! So I just cursed all the more when I found out about Ward... I hope they'll get a second chance, though. Because I don't believe Ward's feelings were just pretend, and that he's not really an off-the-rails lunatic without any morals.
I'm a big fan of the Marvel Universe, too, but I've had a bit of a rock relationship with this TV show. Season 1 for me started off weak, got better in the middle, then got weird towards the end... It left me feeling unsure about watching season 2, but in the end, I was like, 'Screw it!' and watched it. BEST. DECISION. I loved season 2.
Have you seen Marvel's Daredevil? It's freaking AMAZING!

I think I watched Daredevil (or Electra?), or only partly, and remember it wasn't all that amazing. Maybe I should re-watch, it usually gets better. I have no idea how many times I watched the Iron Man movies by now. x)
Loved Season 2, too. Review for that coming up soon, too. =)
