Booking Through Thursday is a weekly bookish meme about (mostly) books and reading.
I can read anywhere, as long as I'm not moving. Reading in a car is my kryptonite, trains and airplanes tend to work better but it really depends on the turbulences. Other than that, I'm fine with everything.
I read at home in bed, on the sofa, in my reading chair (don't have a picture of that yet, 'coz I just moved and had to leave it behind right away again to finish college, put I'll add one into the post later!), but I also read in restaurants and cafeterias, or while waiting in line - always. Standing up, sitting, lying down, alone, or with company, with loads of background noice, or music, or in homely quiet, I really don't care.
I don't like reading in libaries, though. It has this big, hollow silence to it that just gives me the creeps! I can't understand how people manage to breathe in there. Urghs!
I don't tend to read in the tub, coz I don't want to get my book or kindle wet, but sometimes it hits me. I'm also not one of the people who read on the toilet, that's just nasty. Even living with someone who does all my life, I sometimes still feel grossed out, although I should be used to it.
Alright, that's me and my non-existent favorite location. 😉 Link me up -- and I wanna see pictures!
Ha-ha...reading on the toilet made me laugh. I actually do have reading material there, but usually magazines.
I have several spots, too; and I forgot to mention restaurants. I like going to eat alone in a restaurant just so I can read.
Here's MY BTT POST

Love your answer. I read anywhere, but I love curling up on my couch with a blanket. I always have a book in my purse and I've been known to read while standing in line. Love your comment about the toilet. My son and husband do that, but I can't!

I can read most anywhere but my favorite is my recliner/rocking chair. I agree, reading in the car is a no go.
