In Her Shoes is a weekly bookish meme hosted by Vanya at YA Story Teller. To participate, simply put yourself in the shoes of a heroine you've recently read about, and then tell what you would do in her stead, or what you've learned from her.
Luna was just the sweetest thing! She was quite adamant to pull things through she views as right, no matter if she likes it or not, especially in her relationship with Joe, but also around the kids. She was cute in her uncertainty regarding children and family-related things, since she had never been close with her folks, yet so determined to somehow make it work, try her best, do the right thing. If that meant she'd have to ask for help, from someone she'd rather stay away from to top it off, so be it, no matter how begrundingly she does ask. She knows very well what she is capable of, how far she can make it on her own, but also that she expects herself to grow by taking on new challenges. Plus, it was a interesting to read that she'd overcome her kinda gipsy-like self to take responsibility and settle down.
Whose shoes did you step into this week?
