Me, my Shelf, and I is my version of a weekly recap post, and also a feature to tell you more about myself.

ME ... vivacious?

Definition: "happy and lively in a way that is attractive"

Well, I guess that's something one should ask others about, but yes, I think I am vivacious when I am in a good mood. I'm a couch potato often, and like to crawl into my whole and be alone. But when things get me in a good mood and I'm going out into the world with it, I try (mostly successful, I think) to be contagious with it. =)

my Shelf

and I

... had a bad week with two days of migrane, you know what, and all rain. Urgs. But it's supposed to be a bit better today, Sunday, which is also my mother's birthday, so we'll be celebrating. At least a little, since my parents just got home from vacation, so all the preparations are on me and my sister, and they are probably exhausted from the drive home, but yeah. At least a little with coffee and cake. =) ... was the plan, but the weather is still ugly and I managed, despite my best efforts, to get my boyfriend's flu. So no going to coffee and cake for us, since my dad is infamous for catching every little bug someone brings in. I plan to make pancakes for coffee for us, though. Found a very yummy recipe, since you can't just buy pancake batter over here.

Yesterday, we met an old friend. She's about to have her final exams, then she's a vet. She's always been good with animals, so this is her dream job, and I'm totally happy for her if she makes it. =) Before we met for dinner, we did a little repairs on a carport of a friend's, so we weren't exactly out in the rain, and it was still rather warm, and I got to glaze wood panels. Was nice, so I didn't feel all useless between the guys doing the actual work of measuring, cutting, etc. x) Also, I got to babysit my godson, he's getting really cute now! He was totally happy playing with me for a whole hour. =)
