Me, my Shelf, and I is my version of a weekly recap post, and also a feature to tell you more about myself.
ME ... gently?
Definition: "in a soft, gradual or calm way"
I'm not exactly a klutz, at least not most of the time. I'm direct, so you could say that gentle is just not my style, at least not with words. I like to be rather excited about things, but I don't panic easily. Having two kittens and one mildly bigger jungle cat (as in, the boyfriend) in the house, however, has at least proven that I have a gentle touch. ^.^
I am head over my heals in review requests. Nothing new on the shelf this week, though. Geez, I never thought it would get this busy. But I'm also doing some German re-reads, because I'm feeling a bit nostalgic.
Posts of last week:
Planned posts for next week:
Monday - Review: Airel - The Awakening by A. Patterson & C. White
Teaser Tuesday: The Wilds by Jules Hedger
Waiting on Wednesday: #112
Sunday: Me, my Shelf, and I
... had a busy, but also energizing week. I don't know, lots to do, but I didn't feel dragged down by it. I got lots done, and still things in queue waiting for me. Feels like moving forward. =)
Then we were at my dad's birthday party yesterday. It was fun, although we were the only one from the 2nd generation. My dad went all out in preparing awesome food, it was so heavenly! And I hope he's going to like the book I gave him, signed from the fair.
