Me, my Shelf, and I is my version of a weekly recap post, and also a feature to tell you more about myself.
ME ... dowie?
Definition: "Scot. and North England: dull; melancholy; dismal"
I guess in some regard, I'm a very dull person. I mean, I'm a book nerd, like all of you, and who of us hasn't at least once in thier lives so far heard something along the line of, "Really, don't you have more exciting things to do?" Yeah, that...
I might have an outgoing personality, but it's also a loud personality, and I don't fit in well with small talkers and gossipers. On a night out, I either enjoy myself to the extend of annoying others, or I have to reign myself in and be fet up with people for at least two weeks after, being snappy and rude even to people I love if I'm forced to be social.
There is no balance in my life, so it's definitvely not dull from where I'm sitting!

... hope you all had a wonderful christmas time and a happy new year celebration with friends and family. I had a great time, and although I have tons on my plate right now, I'm also feeling very energetic about 2015. Let's hope it lasts longer than January 😉
No books for christmas for me -- can you believe it?! I know I can't! Well, I actually wished for the Divergent Trilogy, nicely in a box set, and one other thing, but since gift two hadn't arrived, I didn't get the books, either. My parents said I'd get my wish on my birthday, which is next week. I'm turning 25... I can't believe that, either. I'm on a roll right now and just can't think about it. Nothing special anyway, right?
