2013 Reading ChallengeCaro has read 111 book toward her goal of 125 books.
|
My 2013 Reading Challenge is set on 125 books, including any manga I might read. Considering I don't yet know how this year will occupy my spare time, I don't know how well it'll go.
The count runs on Goodreads.com. |
2013 Hard Heart A-Z Challenge
In this challenge, I will read through the alphabeth once, meaning it includes 26 books. It is designed to pick up reads that are on your tbr but you've been pushing around your plate for a while. The challange is running here on The Book Rogue. This is my challenge list.
I've read 5.5/26 books.
Bad, very bad. But A-Z is something fiece, I tell you. So, for next year, only 12 books in total, and we'll see how well that goes. =)
2013 Series Catch-Up Challenge
This challenge is hosted by Emilie's Book World and Lost at Midnight Reviews. We're supposed to catch up on the book series we've started and got kinda lazy on, and since I'm reading a lot of series, it does happen if you try to get many new authors into your system. Thus, I've signed up for this in 2013. Here's my post.
I've read 13 books for this challenge.
Thus, I didn't quite achive my goal of 15+, but still not bad, I think.

Through 2013, I want to read books from 25 authors that are new to me. If you want to know more about the challenge, it is hosted by Literary Escapism.
I've tried 47 new authors in 2013.
I knew why I didn't set my goal to 50, because it'd be cutting it close again, like last year. 😉
And then there was...
... me finally graduating college! Now I'm officially Bachelor of Arts. =)
... me also officially moving in with my boyfriend. Now I feel very much at home, it's awesome.
... us finally becoming godparents. We wish all the best in life to our little Eric! He's so cute!
... me getting on with life aka working toward being a full-fuctioning freelancer.
... us getting two absolutely adorable kittens, Alice and Esme, who would drive you crazy but were also enriching our family.
... the viral Christmas. My boyfriend was sick on the 23rd, I came down with that heavy shit on the 25th, and it keeps rolling around the family. But we didn't start it, I promise!
