Goodreads Blurb: When June, Kiki, and Peggy graduated from high school, all of them were still virgins. After all, they were good girls. Years later, when the three women read June's diary from their senior year, they joke about the sexual frustration they caused their steady boyfriends back then. That's when Kiki makes a startling statement. "When you think about it, and I'm only trying to be fair, we owe those guys sex." With bawdy jabs and tipsy laughter, they vow to track down their old boyfriends and just DO IT, which is something they definitely did NOT do years before.
Lives intertwined, the three friends share their quests with sexy, poignant, and sometimes hilarious results. Is each woman's sexual I.O.U. paid in full? Will everyone get what he or she deserves? Or is this just another one of Kiki's crazy ideas?

My Review:

I really didn't know what to expect from that book. I thought the summary was funny so I went along and grabbed it for a read. It wasn't disappointing at all. Ok, it could've been a bit more of everything: more interesting, more thrilling, more heart-pounding, even funnier. Yet, since it was three stories in one, it did quite well on those few pages, despite there being material for more. Regarding the story in itself... not really my type of book, but a good diversion and fans of those kind of books would totally love it! Also, the whole idea and plot were just so damn American. I thought it was right out of a Hollywood teenie drama, just that those women were no longer teens. At one point or another, I didn't like being reminded that they were already in their late fifties, early sixties, it made the sexual aspect of the book kinda gross for a some 20-year-old like myself. But when you didn't think about it while reading, the style felt more like those women were in their thirties, so it was okay for most of the time.

Style: 5/5 -- Plot: 4/5 -- Characters: 3/5 -- Suspense: 2/5 -- Humor: 4.5/5

Overall Rating: 4 Hoods
