Rogue Chronicles Entry No. 106
Let's start with the last sentence of the summary. Boy, does that sound way over the top. Yes, Landon has held out for four years already, but it's not like he would turn his back if Ty would come knocking at the door half a year "too late". He's not the type of guy who gets over a lost love quickly, made him really loveable for me. I already came to like him in Sharing Hailey, he's a very understanding and open person.
That's why I didn't quite understand how Tyler could be his type, but hey. Where love falls down, right? It's not like we have too much of a choice. Don't get me wrong, Tyler was a really nice person, and the struggle between his love for his family and his now acknowledged love for Landon is really hard on him. Thus, being a very, very liberal person myself, of course his so strictly conservative family pissed me off big time. The more I was impressed how open-minded he turned out, but I guess it has partly to do with his job as well. I think he made a good reporter. =)
So, while the paring was okay, the smut wasn't all that hot, I've sure seen way hotter. But not bad, either. I think it's a good choice for readers who're not yet sure if it'd be something they'd enjoy. Short, sweet, not too excessive.
