I'm waiting on...
What You Left Behind
by Jessica Verdi
Expected Publication: August 4, 2015
It’s all Ryden’s fault. If he hadn’t gotten Meg pregnant, she would have never stopped her chemo treatments and would still be alive. Instead, he’s failing fatherhood one dirty diaper at a time. And it’s not like he’s had time to grieve while struggling to care for their infant daughter, start his senior year, and earn the soccer scholarship he needs to go to college.
The one person who makes Ryden feel like his old self is Joni. She’s fun and energetic — and doesn’t know he has a baby. But the more time they spend together, the harder it becomes to keep his two worlds separate. Finding one of Meg’s journals only stirs up old emotions, and Ryden’s convinced Meg left other notebooks for him to find, some message to help his new life make sense. But how is he going to have a future if he can’t let go of the past?
Why I am waiting on this? This sounds very heart-breaking and totally in style with Trish Doller's Something Like Normal, which I loved. I know many of us are waiting on this, and hope it doesn't disappoint!
That blurb already made me a bit teary eyed! That's a guaranteed heart-breaker book, but that's usually a really good thing too 😀 Great pick!

Yes, it's on my list as well! I love the cover so much and the blurb sounds interesting ... I haven't read anything by the author yet so idk what to expect but I hope it'll be good and that we all enjoy it! 😀

I've not seen this one before! I've heard of the author - I read one of her series in the past (the covers were gorgeous, and that's about all that I remember! I liked the series too). I hope you enjoy this book when you read it!
Have a fabulous day 🙂
Check out my WoW post!
This looks really good, I hope you enjoy reading it!

Ooh, I like the font of this title. I'm such a typography nerd.

I'm honestly surprised that I haven't heard of this one before! It sounds like it's going to pack quite the emotional punch- I'm already feeling so much for Ryden. That's a sucky situation to be in, and I honestly want to see how he deals with it all.
Thank you so much for sharing, Caro, I'm definitely going to be adding this one to my TBR! <3
